I wanted to tell you about a speaker that we brought out recently for a Shabbaton. His name is Rabbi Avrohom Jacks. He is a bit of a hidden gem. Due to various family obligations, he has not been very active on the speaking circuit. However, now he is available to speak and looking for opportunities. My nature is not to give praise easily. However, I will say that I have brought out many speakers, including the popular Chabad speakers, and I can honestly say that rabbi Jacks is one of the best speakers that I have brought to my community. My crowd is very diverse. It includes Russian speaking members, Israelis, Americans, people with multiple PhD’s, people who have a lot of yediah, and complete newcomers. Rabbi Jacks was able to enchant them all. His inspiring talks were filled with humor, fresh sounding tochen, and engaging stories. I think you would be great to invite for yemei pagra, Shabbatons, Pesach retreats (?), dinners etc. We are also doing a renovation fundraising campaign at the moment, and Rabbi Jacks spoke very strongly in favor of the project.
